01 · Our story

How we met

2020

An introduction

A mutual friend was certain we should meet. We did, and then life carried us in different directions for a while.

2022

Finding our way back

Early in 2022 we found each other again. This time we stayed, and by that November it was official.

2025

The question

On the ninth of August, a room in Dallas filled with candles and flowers, and the people we love most. The question was asked, and answered.

The venue

The Videre Estate

Wimberley, Texas, in the Hill Country, about an hour to the southwest of Austin. Parking is on site; the ceremony lawn is a short walk from the drive.

Austin (AUS)

The closest major airport, roughly an hour by car. San Antonio (SAT) is a little over an hour. A car is the easiest way in and out.

We haven't reserved room blocks. A few places we'd suggest, all a short drive from the estate:

Rental houses and cabins are easy to find on Airbnb and Vrbo. If Wimberley is full, San Marcos and Dripping Springs are both within about half an hour of the estate. Spring weekends here book up months ahead, so please reserve early. Ask us if you'd like a recommendation.
